    Pay Taxes on Time to Prevent Compulsory Enforcement! Print

    Recently, having received administrative summons notices from the Administrative Enforcement Branch, some people called the Revenue Service Office, Kaohsiung City about the delivery of the tax bills.

     

    Revenue Service Office, Kaohsiung City said that at the imposition of the three major taxes, the payment book will be sent to the taxpayer's mailing address. If it is found unpaid, the payment book will be sent again to the taxpayer's permanent address by Registered with Acknowledgement by Return mail. If it is still unpaid, it will be transferred to Kaohsiung Branch, Administrative Enforcement Agency for compulsory enforcement. In addition, according to the tax law, an overdue fine will be imposed on the late payment of taxes. Please note that for every two days overdue, 1% of the overdue amount will be added, up to 15% as the maximum penalty.

     

    The Office reminds you that the levying period of the Vehicle License Tax starts in April, House Tax in May and Land Value Tax in November. During the levying period, if people do not receive the tax bills, they can apply for a new copy of the payment book and change of their mailing address by phone, internet or going to our branch offices in person for the procedure. Smart tax payers, please pay your taxes on time to prevent from compulsory enforcement and safeguard your own rights and interests!
